98年の秋、徐京晨と伊立奇の２人が作った“青皮”がT-9の母胎となり活動開始。このバンドは、北京のロック予備校“MIDI音楽学院”の講師・陳永鋼がプロデューサー的な役割を担い、コンセプトバンドとして、モンゴル族のVo.伊立奇を中心に、その活動を展開させはじめた。メンバー皆揃って“RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE”の影響を多大に受けているのも特徴。99年12月ライブを開始、その後自分達の音に納得がいかなくなったのか、創作期間に入る。Rap Metalでありつつ、オリジナルティ溢れる音を創作しようと、日々実験的に試行錯誤している姿勢は、この音源からも感じとることができる。そして、そのサウンドはライブを重ねるごとに変化している。特筆すべきは、Vo.伊立奇は若干17歳の現役高校生という事実。今後どう伸びていくかが大いに期待される、無限の可能性を秘めたバンドである。
